These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by StreamFlix (“we,” “our,” “us”). By engaging our services, you (“Client,” “you”) agree to these Terms.
1. All about us...
1.1. What we are: StreamFlux is operated by Coolkid2342, trading as an individual (sole trader), based in the United Kingdom.
The terms of this agreement apply whenever you commission work from StreamFlux, whether through the contact form, email, or any other agreed channels.
StreamFlux designs, builds and maintains custom stream assets and broadcast solutions, including but not limited to; overlays, scenes, alerts, panels, interactive tools, and event branding.
1.2. Project Assigned to us: The specific scope of any project is agreed in writing (including by email) before work begins.
2. Quotes, deposits and payments
2.1. Quotes: Upon purchasing an order and agreeing to a Project Scope (1.2), a unique quote will be given to you for your project.
2.2. Deposits A deposit may be requested before work starts on larger projects; this will always be agreed with you in advance. The minimum Deposit amount will always be 50% of the Quote. Final payment is due before final files are released, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. REFUND POLICY
3.1. You can request a refund from StreamFlux, ensuring that the work is not complete. If final files have been released, all refunds are not permitted. Read the 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 for further information on our Refunds per Deposit and Upfront Payment.
3.1.1. Refunds from Deposits: We reserve the right to keep up to 10% of any work that has been paid in full, and requested a refund. This covers fair Labor costs for the work given up to this period.
3.1.2. Refunds from upfront Payments: We reserve the right to keep up to 20% of any work that has been paid in full, and requested a refund. This covers fair Labor costs for the work given up to this period.
4. Revisions
4.1 During the process of providing your work, we provide updated Prototypes and work with the client to ensure work that you are happy with.
Each project that is completed, is entitled to a single (One, 1) full-project-revision.
4.2 Requests that go materially beyond the original brief may be quoted separately.
5. Ownership and usage rights
5.1. Once a project is paid in full, you receive full usage rights to the final delivered assets for your own streaming, branding, and promotional purposes.
5.2. StreamFlux retains the right to display finished work in its own portfolio, case studies, and social media, unless you request otherwise in writing (for example, for unreleased or confidential projects).
5.3 StreamFlux may reuse general techniques, tools, and non-unique stylistic approaches developed during a project for other clients. Draft or unused concepts remain the property of StreamFlux unless separately agreed.
6. Cancellations
6.1 You may cancel a project at any time before completion. Any work already completed will be billed proportionally.
See 3.1 for our Refund Policy.
6.2 StreamFlux may decline or discontinue a project at its discretion, in which case any payment for uncompleted work will be refunded.
7. Live use and reliability
Interactive tools and overlay systems are tested before delivery, but StreamFlux cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation during a live broadcast, since this depends on your own hardware, software, internet connection, and third-party platforms outside our control.
We will help troubleshoot issues within fair reason.
8. Liability
StreamFlux is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost streaming revenue or missed broadcasts, arising from the use of delivered work.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of The United Kingdom. Any disputes will first be addressed through direct discussion, with mediation preferred before formal legal action.
