StreamFlux (“we,” “our,” “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information of our clients, website visitors, and users of our services.
1. Information that we collect
We do not collect your data unless you give us your data. This applies to the website. If you are using the StreamFlux Bot via Twitch, see Section 5.
1.1. When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, and anything else you choose to include, such as your stream or channel link, budget range, and project details. We do not require an account, and we do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
1.2. If you engage StreamFlux for a project, we also hold the contact and billing details needed to deliver that work and invoice you (for example, your name, email, and any billing address), for as long as needed for that engagement and our accounting obligations afterward. The legal basis for this is performance of a contract with you.
2. How we use your information

3. where your data is sent
We like to stay transparent, so we will tell you where your Data goes.
3.1. Submissions are sent by email through our SMTP mail provider to reach our inbox. That provider processes the message only to deliver it and is not used to store or analyse your data beyond normal email delivery.
3.2. Fonts and any images (including case study clients' public Twitch profile pictures) are served directly from this site rather than loaded from Google, Twitch, or any other third party, so visiting this website does not send your browser's information to those companies. This does not apply to the StreamFlux Bot dashboard and overlay pages, which connect directly to Twitch and Spotify by design; see Section 5.
4. data security
4.1. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data. However, no online transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4.2. Enquiry emails are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, where a project goes ahead, for the duration of that working relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for reference and accounting purposes.
4.3. You can ask us to delete your enquiry or data as legally able, at any time.
5. The StreamFlux Bot
This section covers the StreamFlux Bot; our separate Twitch chat bot service (song requests, alerts, timers, commands, and collaborator/mod access); which handles some data that Sections 1-4 don't cover, including data about people who never visit this website or submit a form.
5.1. Broadcaster (streamer) data. When you connect your Twitch channel to the bot, we store your Twitch user ID, login, and display name, and an access/refresh token (encrypted at rest) that lets the bot act on your channel; for example sending chat messages, reading your chat, and (if you choose) reading/changing your stream title or category. If you connect Spotify for song requests, we similarly store your Spotify user ID, Premium status, and an encrypted access/refresh token.
5.2. Viewer (chatter) data. Anyone chatting in a channel that has the bot connected interacts with it. Depending on which features the streamer enables, this can include: their Twitch username, which commands they've triggered and when. And for song requests.. the track they requested alongside their Twitch username. We also keep an activity log of bot events (for example song requests and command usage) for troubleshooting and to help streamers spot abuse of their chat.
5.3. Collaborator (moderator) data. A streamer can invite another Twitch account to help manage specific parts of their dashboard (for example Alerts or Song Requests), either by their exact Twitch username or via a one-time invite link. Once that person signs in with Twitch and accepts, we store their Twitch user ID, login, and display name, and which sections they were granted; nothing more. Removing a collaborator deletes this record.
5.4. Where this data is sent. Connecting the bot or Spotify necessarily sends data to and from Twitch's and Spotify's own APIs; that's how the integration works. We don't send bot or viewer data to any other third party, and we don't use it for marketing.
5.5. Retention. Account tokens (Twitch, Spotify) are kept only while a channel stays connected and are deleted if you disconnect.
Chat/command/song-request activity logs are kept for 1 Day (24 Hours) for troubleshooting and abuse prevention. A streamer or viewer can ask us to delete specific data sooner where we're able to.
- 5.6. Cookies for the bot. Connecting your channel, or accepting a collaborator invite, sets a session cookie so you (the streamer or collaborator) stay signed in to the dashboard; this is separate from, and unrelated to, the staff-only admin cookie described in Section 9. The same "strictly necessary" exemption applies: the dashboard can't function without it, so no consent banner is shown for it either.
6. Your rights
6.1. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
6.1.1. Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
6.1.2. Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
6.1.3. Request data portability.

If you appear on this site as a past client (name, project description, and public Twitch profile picture), that is published with your knowledge as part of an ongoing working relationship, for StreamFlux's legitimate interest in showcasing its work. You can ask to have your case study or listing removed or amended at any time by emailing us.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please exercise caution when browsing the internet.
9. your Cookies (no, not the food)
This site does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies, and does not ask for cookie consent because there is nothing non-essential to consent to. This is on the website only. See Section 5 for our Bot.
The only cookies this site can set are strictly necessary ones tied to the admin login (used solely by StreamFlux staff, not visitors), which GDPR and UK privacy law exempt from consent requirements because the site cannot function as intended without them.
